Notifications by Email and SMS

Oryx Cloud allows users to set notifications from the Notification Preferences page. Notifications are generally used to get timely information about events, for example when a new lead has arrived, or appointment is set, or you have received any orders etc. it sends you a notification via email or SMS. The SMS notifications are chargeable.
Notification can be sent to 1 mobile number and up to 5 emails per business location.

Setting the Notifications

To set the Email and SMS notification, do the following:
  1. In Oryx Cloud SETUP page go to Notification > Notification Preferences
    The Notification Preferences page is displayed.
  2. Go to Preferences panel,
    1. In the Email Notification Status, the status will show as ENABLED by default.
    2. In the SMS Notification Status, click on Enable button to enable the SMS notifications.
  3. To add another mail ID to get notifications, go to Primary panel 
  4. Enter the primary email ID for which notification is to be set and click on  button.

    The email address has been added to the primary list.
    A success message "An email with an activation link has been send to this address. Please click on the link and activate your email address to start receiving lead notifications in it." will be displayed.
  5. A verification link will be sent to that email, click on the link to verify that email.

    Once the email ID is verified, in the Primary panel where the email ID is added it Verified status will be shown with a green tick mark.

    You have successfully configured the settings for E-mail and SMS notifications.

Resending Activation E-mail

To resend the Activation E-mail, do the following;
  1. In Oryx Cloud SETUP page go to Notification > Notification Preferences
    The Notification Preferences page is displayed.
  2. Go to Primary panel, click on Actions drop down button
  3. Select Resend Activation Email to resend the activation mail to your email ID again.
    You have successfully resend the activation email to the primary email ID.

Removing an E-mail ID

To remove an email ID from the primary email list, do the following;
  1. In Oryx Cloud SETUP page go to Notification > Notification Preferences
    The Notification Preferences page is displayed.
  2. Go to Primary panel, click on Actions drop down button
  3. Select Remove to delete the Email ID from the primary email list.
    You have successfully deleted the email ID to the primary email list.
